wanted to update that this has become a staple in my winter wardrobe, it makes me smile every time I wear it :) This yarn was perfect for the project, I love how it drapes.

I really hated this pattern at first, it took me forever for the lace to click in my head - had to frog once and then unknit quite a few times (hence it taking me months to pick it up and finish it) - but once it finally did (sometime in the second repeat of the lace) I actually enjoyed it. I CO for the larger size but did 7/4/7 rows for the knit sections. Nearly used all the yarn, but I made it!
