Notes

This blanket is a baby gift for a friend whose family has a farm with sheep, chickens, bees and flowers. The yarn is (mostly) Imperial as a nod to her husband’s family in Oregon.

Adding a sheep repeat, so I cast on 209 and added an increase in round B1. (Increases should have been in A6 but I missed it.) Increased by knitting into stitch below.

For the border, Increased every other round. Used lifted increase sloping right, knit, lifted increase sloping left, on either side of one corner stitch.

Purl row to Fold on.

Decreased using k2t and ssk on either side of corner stitch every other round.

I don’t think the yardage is very accurate as many of these skeins seem to have had more yardage/weight than their labels suggest. Tracie Too lists a weight of 113 grams, but as I ended up with 113 grams of at least 2 colors, either the yarn is magical or I started out with more than expected. Next time I’ll weigh the skeins beforehand!
