Trying a small because I don’t have any needles smaller than the 2’s. Have ordered some but it will take a while for them to arrive -- I’m impatient and want to make another pair.

The gusset/heel is easy and simple without having to pick up stitches.

Purposely made them short with a 1x1 rib then used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off.

Perfect fit this time.

I love the colours together. The main sock yarn (Phildar) looks nice and was okay to work with, but not at all comfortable when knit up. I hardly ever wear these because it feels like I’m standing on thin cords. Won’t buy Phildar again for socks.
