My very first knitting project:

this is a learn to knit project and am limited in progress by each week’s lesson. The photo shows the hat just before closing up the top.

Didn’t get a lot of help at class and the generic written instructions could have been more helpful for decreasing, but I’m still happy with how it turned out considering it’s the first thing I’ve ever knit.

I went online to learn how to use DPN to finish decreasing the top and how to weave in the ends. YouTube videos have been a life saver to teach me how to knit.

Can hardly wait to begin my first real project of my own choosing.
