It’s meant for a luxe yarn but I’m using something from my stash instead.

I really enjoy working with cables. My husband has his eye on this one but this is a gift so I’ll have to make him one after Christmas :)

PATTERN: Simple, easy to understand. Very nice result.

YARN: I’ve used this yarn before for mittens and am still pleased with it. That said, I can see how this hat would be deluxe if using a much more luxe yarn as the pattern suggests.

I used every single bit of yarn -- had perhaps a foot left over.
