My first attempt at using a chart.

PROCESS: I had to tink back several times, only because I don’t have a chart keeper to see which line I’m on. I’ve tried crossing off with a pen and using a ruler on the chart but it slows me down so much having to stop and recount continually. My fault and not the chart’s fault.

Took a while, lots of counting.

Had to take a full long weekend off before finishing it or I could have been done sooner.
All photos are pre-blocking.

PATTERN: I think this is a very clever, yet easy, pattern resulting in a unique texture.

YARN: Love, love, love the colour. However it’s likely a tad too dark to do justice for this pretty pattern.
I’d recommend sticking to the designer’s recommendation of using a heavier weight yarn for this particular pattern -- such as worsted.
