My mom taught me to crochet and my friend Leanne and I traded lessons this week.

I decided to make this scarf/belt/headband out of some sparkly yarn I bought for the holidays and didn’t use.

Basically I need a reprieve from the lace work on the scarf I’m making, so this is helping me get better at crochet while still kind of making something.

Well this took no time to finish and I’m seriously in love with it. I have SO many different outfits that it’ll match with.

I have a little yarn left and I’m thinking about making a little hat to match. I’m surprised at how soft this yarn is.

It also appears that I may be a loose crocheter as well as knitter. We’ll see how I remedy that.
