Notes

Holding one strand of each yarn together, I CO 17 stitches, and knit according to the pattern.

This scarf is soft, warm, and very scrunchable!

1/15/2011: I am such a procrastinator. I stuck this in a basket of unfinished projects, and didn’t pick it up again until today.

It was a real booger preparing this to block. I had to be so careful not to felt the wool, but the scarf was heavy. It is now blocking across the guest bed. As soon as it’s dry, I’ll add on the fringe. I’m ready to get this thing finished now, and in the mail to my niece!

1/19/2011:Finally got the fringe added. Since it was such large stitches on the scarf, adding the fringe was a snap.

I’m not sure why I set this project aside for so long. It’s so soft and squishy. Though I’ve not measured it, it’s super long. I made it for my tall niece so she can wrap it around her neck at least twice, and it will still be fashionably long. The LB Fishermen’s wool will make it quite warm, and the Bernat Denim Style made it very soft.
