It took me a few goes to get my head around this, mostly because it’s been a long time since I worked star stitch. Once it clicked, I did a facepalm. It would help to read the instructions properly lol.

I’d also recommend, if you can do it, to roughly chart the pattern so you get an idea of the flow, just a couple of repeats and then you can sit and just hook through it without thinking. I’m enjoying this. It’s working up so nice. <3

I also found that going up a hook size with the DK for me helped. It was easier to see where to work into and easier on my hands. I hook tight anyway, so it’s still working up quite solidly. (Hard to see, sore hands - showing my age ROFL).
