I made this birdcage as an illustration for the fairytale I am writing about the frightened little bird and the dragon.
This birdcage is part of a nasty plan of the dragon…..

I used all kinds of recycle-materials and other unusual materials. I have used plastic, wire, rope and basketry material (In German it is called peddigrohr…) I also used rope with wire inside and strips of carpet.

I used also curtain rings. I crocheted around them.

So I used knitting, crocheting, looping, wrapping……
