I am wanting to make a bird-dress, that I can wear when there is an opening of an exhibition or another occasion in relation to my art project feathers and dragons.

I am using both knitting and crocheting for this. This is my first freeform wearable that I will make, so it is a big challenge to me….

Not sure yet if it will become a dress. Probably it will become a tunic… The backside longer, because of the tail of the bird. The front as it is now…

May 2015. Plans have changed. Rearranged all the scrumbles at a dress, which will now be my pattern.

December 2015. Finally some progress. I have hand stitched all to (another) brown dress and I am now using needle lace to join everything….. Still a lot of work.

December 24: It is finished now!!!! So happy with it. This is the dress to wear at special occasions of Feathers and dragons.
