For the background and the solid turquoise feathers I used yarn from my stash. For the other feathers I used Regia Hand-dye Effect yarn in 2 color ways.

I have knitted 20 feathers according to the pattern. Then I decided to add some more feathers, but because I want them to be lower, I decided to shift the feathers 20 stitches each time instead of the usual 10.
I have knitted 5 feathers this way. Then I started to reverse the feather pattern for 3 more feathers.

I used crochet to finish with 1 row of sc. and one row of reverse sc.

There are really a lot of possibilities to wear it.
I am very glad with the spiral brooch from Woldistel.
