For my art project about bullying I have made a large series of nests. This is just one of them. A nest is meant to provide warmth and safety. But also there are very many, many types of nests. By making many many different nests I want to express that each bird needs his own nest… Each nest has its own possibilities; so the one is not better or worse than the other, but only more suitable to a special type of bird and less suitable to another type of bird….

I recycled umbrellas in this nest. And used basket making techniques.
