Notes

A knitting roll is a kind of a rollable knitting sampler.
In the 19th century they were made a lot in the Netherlands. You can find an example of knitting rolls here.
I intend to do just a minimum of one pattern a week, so that it will grow steadily…….

December 3, Edit: Well…. that did not work out very well until now - too many other things I also wanted to do….. but…. I will continue with this….
As you can see the width is not the same overall. This is because some patterns pull the stitches more together…. But this does not really matter to me, because it shows me what is the effect of each pattern. This whole project is in fact a reference for future projects.

Update June 2017: This project has been hibernating. It started as one pattern a week knitting roll, but….. I did not add to it for ages…. Today I again added 2 patterns to my knitting roll. But I changed the name now in one pattern a month knitting roll… (Even do not know if I can keep up with that….)

If anyone wants to knit along with me, you are welcome. Perhaps we can exchange some knitting patterns.

You can find a lot of stitches at this site.
And also at this site (f.e. the daisies)
