In the beginning I had a lot of problems with reading the pattern… I misunderstood some English crochet terms - I thought a sc was a slipstitch…. That made it rather difficult to do… But when I found out about my mistake I started all over and gradually I got used to the unusual crochet stitches in this project. I have learned a lot of it.
Hope I am now able to use this knowledge in a freeform project….

I did not want to make a pillow cover out of this, so when the overlay crochet was finished I have transformed it into another nest in my series of nests for my art project about bullying.

I used the candle holder from a second hand shop as a support for the nest.
