Using an artificial Christmas tree from the thrift store as a base for a new fairytale tree. This one is more open and much smaller than the other one.

First I twist the branches together, to make less and thicker branches. I cover the branches with yarn and mess fabric. A bit of embroidery is added.

The leaves are crocheted with a large Tunisian hook. I used crazy crochet for this.

October 16: Working at the bottom, to cover the plastic stand of the tree.

It is finished!!!
