The violet bird
The violet bird is part of the series of rainbow birds in my art project about bullying. Each of the rainbow birds has a different character, see my website, scroll down for the English text.

I used the Yil bird pattern of Mathilde Jongbloed to knit these birds, but I changed the head of the bird and the wings.

The heart was made by winding green fruit nets around a metal heart. I used parts of a second hand decoration tree and crocheted the flowers.
