Notes

Loved this one so much I knitted it twice! And I love the brioche stitch (much easier than it looks) and the texture is so squidgy and soft. Malabrigo Chunky is now my favourite Malabrigo yarn and I also like Madelinetosh bulky - the ‘winterwheat’ colour way is such a scrummy warm and malty yellow (best seen in picture 2 and 3).

This is indeed a well-written pattern - Melinda is a very gifted designer - and the final FO is totally trendy and versatile. Love it. Which is why I ended up knitting two of them back to back!

Tips:

Since this is bulky and the stitch produces a thick fabric, do check after each couple of rounds that your stitches line up, as any mistakes are highly visible and not pretty. However, you probably do that with your knitting already…unlike naughty me:)
