Fancied a hat with just a wee bit of cables (as this is my first cable project) and fell in love with this one which perfectly combines cables, seed stitch brim, stockinette in the round and just the right amount of slouch.

This is such a super quick and thoroughly enjoyable knit that I got carried away and knitted an extra 1.5 inches he he…but I love slouch so that’s fine by me.

The Malabrigo Twist snapped right back to original size after a wet blocking (there’s a yarn for garments!) and was wonderful to knit with.

I really like Lisa’s designs (check out ‘Huit’ and ‘Deux’ -the coolest hat / cowl combo) and this pattern is really well written. I initially had problems getting gauge (I am tight knitter) and she responded really quickly to my questions and was so helpful.
