Yarn is very classy compared to the cotton thread I had been using. Color is darker than used to.

Dipped doily in sugar water (boiled 1/2c sugar:2c water) to stiffen and blocked aggresively (maybe too much?). Still, like how it turned out. Perfect for a side table in our “coffee” room.
