Ready to bind off, but decided to dry-block it to see how big it was. It only measured 11” long at the center back, too small for my liking. I know this is only a dry-blocked measurement, but I still think it’s too small. It would only have taken just over 2 skeins (roughly 280 yds) of yarn. So I’m going to take it out and re-do it with size 8 needles. I did this first version with size 6’s and the pattern called for size 4’s!! But I think the body pattern may come out better with bigger needles. Since I’m at the end of my second skein and need to start a third just for the bind-off, I’m going to start the new one with a new skein to see how it looks on the size 8 needles. If I don’t like it, I’ll just keep the first version.

7/25/14: Started over with size 8 needles, got through row 17 of Scroll Border. This part is 3-3/4” long compared to 2-3/4” long with the size 6 needles, as you can see in the comparison photo.
