When I chained 148 to begin with and did a few rows, it measured about 45” wide, which I thought was too wide for a baby blanket, which is what I wanted. So I reduced the beginning chain to 100 and that measured 30”, which was perfect.

Pattern is well written and very easy to follow and memorize.
