4/13-4/14/17:
First time through (Cobble Stitch Blanket A), I made this with just 2 skeins of Birthday Cake Pop (pink-lavender-cream) because that’s all I had. I did 31 rounds and then the 3 rounds of border, using almost all of the 2 skeins (9.4oz/267g/460.6 yds/1.88 skeins). It came out to 24” x 24”, which to me, is too small for a baby blanket. Since all I had ordered of the Sweet Roll was 2 skeins of each color (when Premier had them on sale), I decided to frog the last skein of Birthday Cake Pop and continue from there (around round 24) with Gelato Pop (blue-lavender-cream). Then when I finished 1 skein of that, I went back to the Birthday Cake Pop til the second skein was gone and then finished up with the Gelato Pop. This made a bigger baby afghan and I got to use those two colorways up together to make a very nice baby afghan.
