#1 (11/16/16): First one I made in Pink came out a wee bit big using a size J hook (switched to H for the first 2 rows of the band, and then a G hook for the last 3 rows). It measured 8.25” tall x 11.5” wide and used 2.7oz/77g/142 yds (.39 skeins).

#2 (11/16/16): So I tried going down a hook size and used an I for rows 1-14, H for row 15, and G for the band. This one measured 7.5” tall x 10.75” wide and used 2.4oz/68g/125.6 yds (.345 skeins).

#3 (11/16/16): The Spring Green one I made almost like the first one so it would fit a male. I used a J hook for rows 1-16, H for 17-18, and G for 19-21. It measured 8” tall x 11.25” across the bottom and used 3.0oz/85g/156.5 yds (.43 skeins).

I really enjoyed making this hat and will probably make more to donate to some worthy cause.

#4 (11/16/16): This is made from Caron Simply Soft in Blue mint. I used a J hook for R1-16, H for 17-18, and G for 19-21. It measures 8” tall x 11.25” across the bottom and used 2.9oz/82g/151.2 yds.

#5 (11/23/16): Caron Perfect Match Powder Blue, infant size using size I & G hooks. It measures 6-1/4” tall x 13-1/2” circumference at bottom (6.75” across). I used 1.7 oz/48g/85.2 yds.

#6 (11/23/16): Caron Simply Soft Brites in Papaya. I made the infant size and used J & H hooks. It measures 6” tall x 6-1/2” across the bottom (13” circumference). Used 1.5 oz/43g/78.8 yds.

#7 (11/23/16): Caron Perfect Match Juniper. I made a child size by using the adult size but with 13 dc and a size I hook thru R14, then a G hook for R17-20. It measures 6-3/4” tall x 9.25” across the bottom (18.5” circumference). Used 2.3oz/65g/117.2 yds.
