Loved making this shawl. It was a bit different way of doing a shawl, but I really enjoyed the method. I only wish the shawl was bigger. I found the notes and photos on the designer’s Ravelry page to be quite helpful

Special thanks to Claudia (catcn on Ravelry) for her edging variation. This is what I used for the last 6 rows of the shawl instead of the plain garter stitch edging.

Here are my notes for doing the alternate top edging:
Row 47: sl 1 purlwise w/yarn at back, (yo, k2tog) across. (The last k2tog goes across turn st). (141 sts)

Row 48: sl 1 purlwise w/yarn at front, purl across to turn st, p2, p2tog (144 sts)

Row 49: rep row 47 (147 sts)

Row 50: Rep row 48 except start with purl (150 sts)

Row 51: k1, (yo, k2tog) across, k1 (150 sts)

I don’t have row 52 written down, but I’m guessing I just purled across and then bound off on the next row.
