I’ve had this yarn for a long time and couldn’t figure out what to do with it, because it’s so textured. I just found it the other day in my yarn room and decided, because of the nature of this yarn, to try a modified granny square blanket where I don’t have to go into actual stitches, just the spaces, except for the plain dc rounds. It’s a basic granny with solid dc rounds every few rounds.

9/20/19:
With pale yellow, ch4, join to form ring.
R1: Ch3, 2dc in ring, (ch2, 3dc) 3x in ring, ch1, join with sc to top of first ch3.
R2: Ch3, 2dc in space made by sc, [(3dc, ch2, 3dc) in next ch-2 sp] 3x, 3dc in first sp, join as before.
R3-4: Ch3, 2dc in space made by sc, [3dc in space bet clusters to next corner, (3dc, ch2, 3dc) in corner ch-2 sp] around, end with 3dc in first space, join as before.
R5: dc in ea st around, making corners as before.
R6: granny (corner, skip 3, 3dc in next dc, (skip 2, 3dc in next dc) across to corner, rep around.
R7-9: normal granny
R10: Rep R5
R11: Rep R6
R12-14: normal granny
R15: Rep R5 except skip 1 dc after corners.
R16: Rep R6
R17: normal granny

9/21/19:
With pale blue:
R18: dc around, skipping 1st stitch after each corner.
R19: (FPTC, BPTC) across to corner, ch2 for corner, then rep around.
R20: (FPDC, BPDC) across to corner, ch2 cor corner, then rep around.
