I altered the pattern a bit for the tops. I repeated R6 but did sc in next 5 sts and worked through both loops. Then I did 2 rounds of just plain sc for a total of 9 rounds for the lid. This gave it a little more “fitted” look.

The bowl part had a few errors:
R 15 should say “sc in next 6 sts”
R 17 should say “sc in next 5 sts”
R 18 should say “sc in next 4 sts”

I did ch 11, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sl st in next 4 chs (stem). Then (sc, 2hdc) in next ch, 2 dc in next ch, (dc, hdc) in next ch, (hdc, sc) in next ch, 3 sc in last ch. Turn and work down other side of chain: (sc, hdc) in next ch, (hdc, dc) in next ch, 2 dc in next ch, (2hdc, sc) in next ch. Join to stem and fasten off, leaving long enough tail to sew onto pumpkin.

Each pumpkin took about 1 oz of orange yarn, and just a few yards for the stems & leaves.
