Finished size: 34” x 34”

I generally have a problem with ruffling with center-out afghans. So for some patterns, I have to adjust the corners to eliminate the ruffling. This was one of those patterns, although the ruffling didn’t happen with some other testers. Audrey’s patterns are always well-written and easy to follow. Even though I made adjustments to some rounds, I could still follow her pattern because it was so well-written.

12/18/23: R1-7 w/H hook
12/19/23: R8-21
12/23/23: frogged R13-21, it was ruffling; re-did with G hook
1/10/24: frogged R13-21, it still ruffled though not as much; re-did with G hook turning after each round; (dc, ch1, dc) in corners on wrong side rounds. I continued with G hook for the rest of the blanket.
1/18/24: R22-26, did corners as per pattern
1/19/24: R27-31, did corners as per pattern
1/20/24: R32-24, did corners as per pattern
1/22/24: R35-38, R36&37 I did the corners as 1dc, ch2, 1dc
1/23/24: R39-40, followed pattern exactly
