Notes

Finished size: 36” x 42”.

129 rows + 6 border rounds.

5 days to crochet.

A: Lilac
B: Koolaid Print

------------------------------------

The main portions were done with Lilac and the treble sections & border were done with Koolaid print.

This pattern needed a few tweaks.
A: I started with ch 127 then I did 30 rows of the beginning pattern.

B: For the yarn I used, I did the first tr row (my row 31, pattern row 25) like this: (tr2tog in the first st, tr in the next st) across (because the trebles alone looked too spacy; the tr2tog in every other stitch filled in the spaciness). I didn’t turn after this row, but started the next row at the beginning of the treble row.

A: After the treble row, the first granny row (my row 32; pattern row 26), I did 3 dc in the first stitch. Then followed the pattern for the rest of the row. I followed pattern row 27 (my row 33) and row 28 (my row 34) through my row 42 (11 granny rows).

B: For the next treble row (my row 43, pattern row 35), I did tr in first st, tr2tog over next 2 sts, (tr2tog in ch-1 sp, tr in next st, tr2tog in next st, tr in next st) across, tr2tog last 2 sts. I turned after this row to start the next section.

A: For the middle main pattern first row (my row 44), I did ch1, sk 1 st, (dc in next st, sc in next st) across. Then I followed the pattern rows 36-60 but for me it was rows 45-86.

B: The next treble row (my row 87) was the same as my row 31 above. I didn’t turn at the end and started the next section at the beginning of this treble row.

A: The next granny section (my rows 88-98) were the same as above (my rows 32-42). I didn’t turn at the end and started the next section at the beginning of the last row.

B: Pattern row 71 (my row 99) was a treble row done as my row 43 above. I did turn at the end of this row.

A: The last section starts with my row 100, which I did as my row 44 above. Then worked pattern rows 72-95 as written but they were my rows 101-129.

For the border, I did a round of sc with the lilac yarn and then changed to the Koolaid print for the rest of the border.
R1: With A, sc around with 3sc in each corner.
R2: With B, sc around with 3sc in each corner, turn.
R3: With B, ch4, (skip next st, dc in next st, ch 1) around, with (dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc) in each corner, turn.
R4: With B, ch3, dc in each space & stitch with 5dc in each corner dc, turn.
R5: With B, repeat R3, turn.
R6: With B, sc around with 3sc in corners.
