#1: Finished size: 7-3/4” long x 8-3/4” across bottom

Because I used DK yarn instead of worsted weight called for in the pattern, I changed the hook sizes and made the Large Adult size. I started with the I/5.5mm hook for the first 19 rounds. This seemed to be a bit on the big side, and since it wasn’t long enough, I added another 4 rows of the repeat with the H/5mm hook, through R23. This came out to 6” long so I went on to the band with the H/5mm hook. It fits fine if not a wee bit on the large side. I enjoyed this pattern and may make another one using the Medium Adult size to see if it will fit a bit tighter.

#2: Finished size: 8” long x 9” across bottom

I did this one with worsted weight yarn and a size I/5.5mm hook for the body and 7/4.5mm hook for the ribbing. I made the Medium Adult size. I also added 4 rounds for the body through R21 then did the ribbing.
