Increased to 34 stitches for each needle. I have a US Women’s 9 1/2 - 10 shoe size with a wide width.

Revised pattern by just adding k1 to the beginning and end of needle.

One thing I wish the pattern indicated was how long before you started the eye of partridge heel. After a few tries, I figured to have it be 2”-2.25” less of what you want the foot length to be.

Gusset had increased to 62 stitches

Heel Turn:
Row 1: sl1, k14 sl1, k1 9 times then as pattern indicates

However, with the extra stitches you will have to continue once or twice to finish picking up the rest of the stitches.

You can see the 2 stitches between the front and back of monkey pattern, but I don’t mind.
