Just finished the ‘Sinnesau’ cardigan - and LOVE it! It was a fast and rather easy knit + it fits great! I knitted it on 3,5 mm rather than 3 mm, and still in a size L, which I thought was the size I should have according to the pattern. The cardigan ought to be too big - or the pattern is thought to be rather snug!

Right now it is just OK … not too tight, not too loose. The pictures are taken after using it for two days, when it has loosened a bit. Not too slobby. I think it would have been too big, perhaps, if I had knitted it in a sport weight wool?

I had beginners trouble with the Sandnes Alpakka yarn, since it knits up much tighter than gauge … it is such an elastic yarn. I think this is why the cardigan fits so well in spite of the thicker needles! I LOVE the Sandnes alpakka … so soft and warm!

Thank you, Ann, for making this beautiful design. This is such a great pattern - easy to follow and a great fit! For English speakers, the pattern has just been translated as ‘angry sheep’ cardigan :-)
