This was made from the Herrschner’s Serenity Afghan Crochet Kit I was given for my birthday that year. It was about $40 at the time. Since had paid $50 for the yarn for my last afghan, I was very happy. Even better, I had 5 skeins left over. I’m going to buy another afghan kit from them, when I can schedule it.

The cat in the last photo, is Ozzie. A friend of mine neglected to spay her cat, and let the cat roam outside all day. Ozzie was the runt of a litter of five. He is now 11 pounds, neutered, and never leaves the house. Update: Ozzie peacefully passed away in October of 2010 after thoroughly enjoying this afghan and all the creature comforts I could provide him.
