I think I should have used the white/blue ombre instead, though I really wanted to use all white or a light, icy blue. This is mostly white ombre with flecks of pink, violet, and blue.

The hanger was my own addition. I decided to chain the tail, leave an additional six inches of cotton, and weave in the end in the back of the chain, and anchoring it to the ornament. This is a technique I have been using for years, and I think it comes out quite nicely.
