Co 52 sts (guage of 3.5 sts/inch) double stranded to fit 6-9 mo baby. Worked in seed st for 3 rows. Worked straight with 5 purl lines for 4.25 inches. Began dec and changed to 4 purl lines for 3 of the dec rounds. Changed to 3 purl lines until near the end and then down to 2 purls.
