Have a HE washer, so I felted this by hand. I took a 6 qt bucket and filled it with very hot water and a bit of dish soap. I then used an old 32 oz yogurt container to plunge the fish in its bath for about 15 minutes. Squeeze, rinse, and air dry.

Added black safety eyes. Closed the mouth differently than the pattern b/c I wanted the fish to look like he was blowing bubbles, plus my daughter loves things with pockets. The mouth seems the perfect size for a bouncy, rubber ball.
