This a very clever little pattern, I love it and I’m going to knit a lot of these babies….

Sinc I used 3.5mm needles and thinner yarn, I should have add stiches, but the others projects seemd a little big so I tried without changing (casting 170) and it’s perfetc for the lenght, but not the hight (I hope I’m clear, I’m not fluent in english).

So I added several rows :
4 X rows 7 and 8 (+8 rows) in the ruffled part
and I did 7 rows in beetween buttons row, instead of 5.

The top picot edge is made while casting off and is really clever, you should knit this just to learn it!

I used steam for a quick blocking, and did it in two times: first I blocked the neck part (34cm), then I did the ruffled part.
