Notes

Grandma, Jane and I had lunch the other day and visited Studio 23 to look at the art exhibit. We had a nice lunch to catch up and she asked about my knitting. Later we went to the yarn shop in Bay City and she admired a shop sample of this scarfs really thought she was just being polite, but Jane told me later that grandma was seriously into the scarf (I was probably a bit yarn mad to notice). She helped me pick up this wine dark purple which I think will look nice.

Pattern is very easy, but holy cast on, Batman! It took me an hour, I believe. This will be a great pattern for school runs starting next week, hopefully finishing up before it gets chilly.

I learned practically everything I know about painting from summer art classes with Grandma and Grandpa since I was a kid. She is a very creative and special person.

Still plugging away at this. Grandma’s birthday is next week. Do you think I could get this done?

Only one more knit and purl row until binding off. Just in time because it turns out my grandma’s birthday is this Thursday and we are planning a lunch date.

I steamed with a low iron setting and am draping it over the neck of my mannequin until it dries. Whew, done in plenty of time.
