Yay! The package has been received so I can spill the beans on this. I cast this on for my friend Lyndsey since she is opening a new dye studio this month. I wanted to incorporate her logo, so I used some cross stitch design software (PCStitch 10) to draw it. To keep the logo proportional to the yarn label, because knit stitches are a little taller than squares, I set the grid to 18st/inch tall and 22st/inch wide. Jane helped me a great deal with making sure the letters all lined up and looked nice.

The jacquard pattern is 90 st/110 rows, and I needed it to be 100st wide, so I “mirrored” 5 st on each side to still produce a symmetrical design. I love how the yellow pops against the Frenzy variegated yarn.

I knitted the logo side to the same dimensions, and blocked them both to 13” square. The jacquard side came out tall and skinny, and the logo side short and wide, but they both blocked out evenly because I kept the floats very, very loose. It fit a 12” pillow form perfectly.

I like this tassel tutorial, and I tied them to each corner and threaded the ends through the tassel body to secure them. I love, love, love how this turned out and am very ecstatic that Lyndsey likes it.
