The Carlisle scarf, spotted on Ravelry, inspired me to pull together a few skeins of Koigu KPM from my stash. The scarf used a bit more than one skein of the eggplant colorway (used for the borders and for separating the other colorways) and between half and 2/3 of a skein for the other three colors.

I didn’t use the pattern but figured out my own version as I went along. The border was done by picking stitches along the long edges, log-cabin style. Very happy with the results and with my choice of colors. The yarn is a pleasure to knit and to wear.
