Notes

Cecelia Campochiaro’s gorgeous book “Sequence Knitting” is a treasure trove of unusual, clever, elegant stitch patterns. My goal was to create a striped grey/black scarf with the sophistication of a woven piece. I used the same stitch sequence used in her “Colormill” pattern, casting just 65 stitches for width. I did a provisional cast on using some red waste-yarn and ended up liking the contrast so much that I used a dk red wool from stash to edge the two ends of the finished scarf.
