My second shawl based on Joelle’s classic pattern. Finding a neutral color that would bring sufficient contrast to Noro 269 was a challenge. I settled for this ivory white. I like the result although I find it a bit too Spring-like or candy-cane-ish. I would have preferred a darker tan, were it not for the brownish repeats in my skein of Noro. I used the whole skein of Noro (no color edits) and about 1.70 skeins of the Toots alpaca blend, a slightly rustic yarn that bloomed nicely when the shawl was soaked.
