I purchased this yarn on the beautiful Isle of Iona in Scottland when I spent 6 weeks there in 2015 (which is 6 years ago now!). It is made from the wool of the sheep roaming the island which makes it really special to me <3
I started knitting another project with it back then but that didn‘t work out at all. So i‘m really glad to finally have turned it into something wearable!
It is very scratchy but I don’t mind that to much and it bloomed beautifully when blocked.
