This hat was really fun to knit! I just love the candle flame pattern. It’s so gorgeous!
The pattern looked rather complicated to me, as I’m still a beginner knitter. But once I knew how to do the two special increase and decrease stitches that form the pattern it was really easy.
I cast on 80 stitches and increased to 128 after the brim, as the pattern says. I did two pattern repeats before decreasing the hat.
