This was my first lace pattern an though I’ve made plenty of mistakes I couldn’t be more happy with the way that this is turning out.

7/2/16-- I’m finally finished, all that’s left to do is to weave in the ends and block it. I started this project really excited about it, but I messed up so many times, and had to rip back, or start over, that I quickly lost steam on it. It sat around the house for months, until three weeks ago when i decided I HAD to finish this.

When I overcame my mistakes it started to fly off my needles. And it seemed like miles and miles of the diamond repeat. I couldn’t be more happy to finish this, it is such a relief to be done with this. I like how it came out though. I couldn’t let myself get too far without stringing a life line.

7/9/16-- I wish I had lace blocking wires when blocking this but I still think it came out great.
