Cast on 149. I didn’t use the entire skein because I felt like I had been working on this forever and I was anxious to bind off. The yarn and pattern create a very pretty result, but fingering weight yarn is a pain. :)

I do adore this yarn. The color variation is gorgeous, and it was a lot softer than the Madelinetosh DK I knitted with before. And it’s so shiny. This was my first time knitting with single ply yarn.

My bind off is sloppy, but I’m too lazy to go back and fix it. If I wear the cowl upside down, it hides the bind off. :)
