Tardis socks made into mitts.

Cast on 42 sts in worsted weight.

5 rows of 1x1 ribbing.

1 row of purl.

2 rows of black knit.

5 rows of lettering on black background. I modified the lettering a bit to try to make it look less blocky.

1 row of black knit.

1 row of blue knit.

1 row of blue purl.

1 row of blue knit.

3 rows of windows (each window pane is 2 stitches wide and 3 rows tall). The windows have an extra blue stitch between each set to make them stand out more.

1 row of blue.

At this point I made the thumb on a separate set of needles. CO 16, 5 rows of 1x1 rib, 5 rows of knit. Then I attached it to the glove at this point by dec 1 stitch at the points of contact.

3 rows of windows. I carried the white from the windows around the thumb.

Knit with blue. Decrease 1 on each side of the thumb every 3rd row until all of the thumb stitches are gone.

Knit with blue until glove is desired hand length. Use decreases where needed to shape palm.

1x1 ribbing on wrist until desired length. ~1.5” - 2”.
