Ten year old Cee Cee uses her hobby of knitting to help others.
So far she’s raised $10,000 for various charities and has an army of knitters and crocheters all over the world ready to help her help others.

First an elephantathon raised over $3000 and Cee Cee got to go share elephants in Joplin. Then there was knitting for Extreme Makeover:Home Edition. She’s the youngest teacher ever at Stitches, and taught knitting elephants at Stitches Midwest. She just got back from Stitches South and is beginning a new campaign to help the charity Kids Need to Read.

Now Cee Cee and many others are again making elephants and small gifts to comfort the victims of the tornadoes in Moore OK in May of 2013.

The only change I have made to the pattern is I make short row ears instead of rectangles that are gathered.
