This is a medium weight yarn (4). Found a stitch I liked in one of the many books I have. Did the math, calculated, multiplied, divided and scratched my head in order to create a mitten. Started a test mitten, set my mouth right and gritted my teeth. Made adjustments, figured thumb placement, etc. until I had the end result.
