I love my sweater! Such a fun quick knit. I am 5’2” and knit a sort of L/XL petite sweater. I knit it intentionally oversized, not fitted as the cute original design is.
I lengthened the knitting before waist decreases by 1.75”. Left off the colorwork on the hips.
My main color is 0056 Light Grey Heather the other colors are 1409 Garnet red Heather, 1419 Barley and the 1412 pink heather. And a teeny bit of the 9422 green.
I knit the size L arms, they are still more full than I need at the upper arm, next time I’d stop increasing - maybe 4-6 stitches less. I knit them to my arm length, which is something closer to the size XS measurement.
I have lots of positive ease-- perfect for being a top layer over a couple of shirts. I could prably have knit a size L and still had it comfortably loose.
I used some of all 7 skeins of MC but plenty left over- so these mods were no problem interms of yardage.
I am already scheming my next one--in murky colors, with a roll neck and A-line hem.

Colors inspired by a Frank Stella painting-- see blog for more info. Body flying by on size 10’s--the pattern calls for 10.5 but I am a loose knitter, size 10 gets gauge.
